The BRICS Special Economic Zone China Cooperation Center Work Promotion Meeting was held in Hangzhou on the 21st. At the meeting, the cooperation center was officially unveiled.

Representatives from international organizations such as the BRICS New Development Bank and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, and representatives from embassies and consulates and business institutions in China from Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa, Egypt and other countries attended the meeting. In the next stage, the cooperation center will focus on policy exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, capacity building, standard docking, institutional innovation, comprehensive services, and mechanism coordination.

Winston, Deputy Consul General of Brazil in Shanghai, the rotating presidency of the BRICS, said in his speech that today's global governance requires more innovative mechanisms. During Brazil's rotation, it will start from six major areas to promote cooperation among BRICS countries, including artificial intelligence governance and investment, trade, finance and other fields. It is believed that the BRICS Special Economic Zone China Cooperation Center will become an important platform for economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between BRICS countries and China.
