The Difference Between Coral Fleece and Microfiber
Coral Fleece: Its fiber density allows it to absorb up to three times as much water as pure cotton. It absorbs water quickly within three seconds upon contact, making it ideal for absorbing large amounts of moisture (such as when wiping wet hair).
Microfiber: Its absorbency is slightly lower than coral fleece, but it absorbs water faster (dries 50% faster than coral fleece), making it more suitable for quick-drying needs.
Softness and Comfort:
Coral Fleece: Its texture is thick and fluffy, with a cloud-soft feel and excellent warmth retention, making it suitable for autumn and winter wear; however, it can be hot and stuffy in the summer.
Microfiber: It is lighter, skin-friendly, and breathable, making it suitable for all seasons and even for sensitive skin.
Durability and Maintenance:
Coral Fleece: Can become loose and deformed after repeated washing, reducing water absorption and lasting approximately 1-2 years. It is prone to static electricity and requires washing before use.
Microfiber: Durable and wrinkle-resistant, it can maintain its performance after 50 or more machine washes, with a lifespan of over 3 years. However, it cannot be sterilized at high temperatures (≤ 65°C) and must be washed separately.
